Vembi  participated in Empower 2024, held from October 17-19 at the National Institute of Speech & Hearing (NISH) in Thiruvananthapuram. This event brought together users, experts, innovators, and advocates in Assistive Technology, fostering an environment ripe for collaboration and empowerment.

On Day 2, our Co-Founder, Vidhya Y, delivered a compelling talk on Artificial Intelligence and Assistive Technology, sharing valuable insights from our experience with the latest AI tools that enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

On day 3, Vembi’s team of co-founder Rajagopal, with Devi Dutta, presented Iris: Encouraging Self-Learning of Tactiles Among Blind and Visually Impaired Students : Research Paper Presented at Empower 2024 – a research paper on the usage of Iris in special schools.
